It is clear to most visitors to our u-pick gardens, orchards or Bed & Breakfast why we call it Hidden Valley. We are only 5 km from the beaches and tourist amenities in the busy resort community of Sylvan Lake but the transition is amazing; our little farm offers a quiet, peaceful, secure environment where you can totally relax and unwind.

In our u-pick gardens we have most vegetables that your grandmother might have grown. In the u-pick orchard we have saskatoons, raspberries, chokecherries, and rhubarb. Depending upon the season, you may be able to enjoy the aroma of spring and new blossoms or perhaps fruit picked fresh from the tree or maybe home made jam and jelly with your breakfast.

If you simply want to get closer to nature and go for a walk, we have trails throughout our Hidden Valley Garden where you can wander around the farm, visiting with our horses, cats, dogs and chickens and maybe identify some of the 60+ species of birds which we have spotted.

Your room during your stay with us is located on the lower level of our walkout home. The Sunflower Room has 2 double beds and an ensuite bath and the Country Room and Garden Room each offer a queen size bed and share a private bath.

The common area for our b&b guests provides space and comfort for reading, playing cards, watching TV or relaxing. A microwave and fridge are available for your use throughout your stay. Our 24 hour refreshment center offers coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, cookies, fruit and snacks for your enjoyment.

If you want to golf, we are happy to arrange a tee time at Top 'O the Hill Executive course or at any of the other 10 golf courses within 30 minutes of our place.

Summer in Sylvan Lake offers one of the best beaches in Alberta, boating, water slides, lake cruises, weekly farmers market, fishing, numerous festivals and special events. Winter in Sylvan Lake offers a large skating rink on the lake, ice fishing, cross country skiing and many special events such as Santa Parade at Christmas, Winterfest, Skating Marathons and Pond Hockey Competitions.

Rates & Payment Info

$125 per room for a one night stay. $100 per room per night for stays of two or more nights. Group rates are also available if multiple rooms are required. All room rates are based on double occupancy.

Extra Person: $15 per night

Cancellation Policy

Advanced reservations of at least 3 days required for all bookings. Your reservation will be confirmed based on your phone call or e-mail. Please re-confirm your reservation at least 3 days prior to check in.
